We cannot overstate the importance of becoming a recognized student organization with USC Student Affairs, a process that every student organization must complete each Fall semester. Q: What do I need to do for my student organization to be recognized?

 

A: To become a recognized organization, every group needs to register with USC Student Affairs each Fall. Beginning August 1st, you can follow this step-by-step guide. Contact us with any questions: usc.assm@gmail.com.

Host an Event

Q: I want to host an event on campus. How can I do this?

 

A: You must be a recognized student organization in order to book rooms, use the event calendar and be eligible for ASSM funding. Refer to the step-by-step event planning guide and remember that you are always responsible for ensuring that your event conforms to university policies.
