The Associated Students of the School of Medicine (ASSM) is led by a board of elected officers as well as by boards representing each medical school class. The ASSM organizes and sponsors events, distributing a portion of student program fees to other student organizations. Officers of the ASSM play a role in the governance of the Keck school through service on the executive, admissions, curriculum, ethics, student affairs and scholarship committees. The ASSM maintains a calendar of medical school events, as well as other university events that may be of interest to students. This website provides information on student government activities and maintains helpful links for students.
