Clinical Ultrasound Student Interest Group

The purpose of this organization is to promote student interest and education in ultrasonography and its use in clinical medicine. In partnership with LAC+USC Emergency Ultrasound Program and our faculty advisor Dr. Mikaela Chilstrom, CLUSIG strives to provide medical students with volunteer opportunities in the Emergency Ultrasound Program, as well as opportunities for hands on instruction in the multiple uses of clinical ultrasound. This group will also seek to promote student interest group collaboration with other fields of medicine that use ultrasound and foster the formation of professional relationships.
